Hi Hashers,
For those of you (most) who were avoiding the torrents of rain, attending the Zürich Street Party, on holiday, making marriage plans or generally just couldn’t be bothered ZH3 ran this weekend…
Many thanks to the five and a ½ (Casanova) regulars and especially the travelling Hashers who put the locals to shame, Vinnie and Crushed Nuts all the way from India, Highlander from somewhere hot (the Caribbean via Edinburgh) and not least the very wet SWANS (‘Schwanz’) from Singen (SchH3)…
The weather was suitable awful (as apposed to the previous 5 days of 25º C +) with lashing rain and numerous stray cows and the occasional bull (harassing the Harrietts especially Wet’n’Ready…)
Mausi struggled up hills, through mini-gates and apparently under electric fences all to keep the (still asleep) Casanova on trail…for the next Hare, Mausi wants a flat, 5k city run, no road crossings, sun and at least 5 beer stops (we managed two on Saturday)…
The trail was a true 11k with a ‘few’ falsies, check-backs, fish-hooks etc…thanks to SWANS and Highlander for doing most of the checking…

Fantastic Hash fodder from W&R and a great drying out session over a few beers and wine..
The pictures are somewhat blurry given the rain and the lens of the Hash Flash being covered in flour..

Hope to see some of you over the course of the 2nd Swiss Hash-a-Thon, Start 28th August – Hashing for 10 days…
The details on starts and locations to follow on the ZH3 site…watch this space… |

IMPORTANT: ZH3 has exchanged dates with Basel ZH3 just for this month. Basel runs on 1. August and Zürich on 8th August!!!!! Meeting point is the Hare's Hutch: Obere Heslibachstrasse 31, 8700 Küsnacht (go to www.map.search.ch to find a map) We'll drop our bags and then do an A to A run. The run is almost buggy friendly (only 4 fences, a bit of offroad and a couple of stairs) Unfortunatly, all affordable restaurants in the area are closed or very busy. We will need your RSVP - sent by email to the Hare - by Friday night so we can make a reservation. ThirstyThursday@jamespape.com ON ON |
