Meeting Point: Rheinfelden, Meet, not at the (restricted) station car park, but at the larger one in front of the Hotel Schuetzen. Emerge from the station underpass and walk down Bahnhofstrasse, right hand side, towards the traffic lights. Cross the main road and you will see the parking ground.

Word from the hare: Welcome back to the 3rd Annual'Let's Get Wet Before Christmas' Hash, where Hashers get wet and don't complain about it. This year's run will take place in the lovely town of Rheinfelden near Basel, with bathing at the Kurzentrum 'Sole Uno Wellness World'. The run will be A to B (short-cuts for walkers) with a bag car, followed by a circle and then in we go.... No RSVP is necessary, but if you have time, drop me an e-mail or tell me so we have an idea of numbers for the restaurant. Cost: The cost for the run will be 5Sfr to cover beer and snacks. The cost of the baths is 19Sfr for 1 1/2 hours, with each additional quarter hour at 2Sfr. For that price, you get: The whole wellness world: saltwater pools, sauna facilities, hamam (Note: the hottest, Finnish, saunas are only in the Naked Zone). We can determine how long we want to stay by vote in the cirlce but I imagine 1 1/2 to 2 hours should do us and the restaurant reservation will have some say, too. One of the local LGWBC HHH executives is checking into buying a book of tickets which will give us a discount. FYI, according to their webpage, children under 4 are not allowed in the baths. I for one will be there with our toddler and taking turns with my wife so if you have kids under 4, we could work out a system of watching the little Hashers so that everyone can get wet. How to get there: By car: www.map24.ch. Search for the map to Rheinfelden, SBB. By train: Get yourself to Basel, SBB. Trains leave from Bern and Zurich every half hour. From Basel, SBB, trains leave for Rheinfelden at 13:20 and 13:50 (S1, platform 5). It takes 15 minutes. If you are running late, there is also an InterRegio train leaving at 14:14 from platform 3, arriving at 14:25, but keep in mind the bag car will probably have left and possibly even the pack so look for markings and call the running mobile number listed above if possible.
