Chalk talk will be held at the Hauptbahnhof on platform 2. Runners will catch the 14:36 train to Uetliberg. PLEASE COME WITH PROPER FARE IF YOU INTEND TO RUN. Uetliberg is 2 zones outside of zone 10. Alternatively you could skip the chalk talk and meet the wankers at the Uetliberg stop at 14:56. Once the runners have departed the hare will then take the walkers to a different platform. Walkers need only have a fare for zone 10. The runners and walkers' trails will end at the same point B.

Potential perils on the runners' trail- much shiggy (mud/muck, thistles, prickles, shrubbery etc.), a lot of downhill (tough on the knees), mountain bikers, busy streets, railroad tracks, 10,000 ankle twisting opportunities, beer stops and trespassing. While it is a runners' trail, the nature of shiggy will keep you from running the whole time, expect to get plenty of cool down periods as you navigate your way through the thick of it. If this does not appeal to you, there is the walkers' trail. When running such trails I always wear running tights or sweat pants to protect me from the pricklies- I would advise you all to do the same. Do they have poison ivy and such here? You may also want to bring a change of clothes in your bag.

Potential perils on the walkers' trail- much lesser... stairs, a bit of mud, tall grasses, industrial zones, beer stops, playgrounds and kinda busy streets. Don't get me wrong, it will be a nice trail with the signature twists and turns of a hash, just a shorter distance, more flatness and easier navigation. It will be stroller/scooter kid friendly too, so bring your little hashers along. The start point of the walkers' trail is to be kept hush so as to not give away the runners' trail.

With the exceptions of the altitude change and the public transit aspect, the runners' trail should be somewhat in keeping with the typical trails of my mother hash, Baltimore Annapolis H3 http://www.bah3.org . A hash set in the heart of, "The Land of Pleasant Shiggy." Don't wear your brand new best trainers.

If you have questions please email me directly- jimbodaniels@yahoo.com. Should you need it on the day of the hash, here is my handy number: 077 405 19 31.
